In my naturalistic paintings I study the techniques of painting, how it works and how I get a specific effect.
In the natural element I can’t just write it off as a great effect or as the freedom of the artist. At the same time I let my brain take some time to reflect and let et has it’s own moment to learn and study the effect and technique of the paint. To me it’s like a meditation and I feel so relaxed when I work in the naturalistic element, at the same time it’s my drama queen moment.
